At Pecora Nera, we know that flour-based foods can be tough on some diets. That’s why we import, distribute and make our fine fresh pastas, breads and doughs with only the finest flour from Italy. It has the lowest ash count in the world and contains no P.O.P.’s (persistent organic pollutants), which makes our products easier to digest. Our fresh pasta only includes three ingredients: flour, egg and fresh air.

Pecora Nera Fine Pasta is a fresh pasta product and only uses three ingredients: flour, eggs and water. We have sourced the best flour on the market, having the lowest ash count of all flours in the world, and there are no P.O.P’s (persistent organic pollutants), both of which make our pasta easier to digest; that means little to no bloating from our pasta! We also use locally sourced organic eggs, which helps support our local farmers. We care about our food and think it should always be healthy and clean.
Not only is Pecora Nera good for you, it is good for the planet too. Again, our ingredient list and how we source these items, is of the greatest importance to us. We believe in good farming practices and as such, good food; but it doesn’t stop there…
Pecora Nera Fine Pasta also believes that the footprint we leave behind should be as minimal as possible. We upcycle our egg shells as a nutraceutical for farming compost purposes. We have also sourced packaging for our product that is 100% fully compostable! What’s that you say, 100% fully compostable?! Yes, that’s right 100% fully compostable. You can actually take our package and throw it in your garden and it will decompose, 100% fully break down in your garden. The package itself might be a little noisy, but the environmental noise is pure solitude. We like that.
